Situated a few Kilo Meters further away from Sudh Mahadev, Mantalai is surrounded by lush deodar forests at an altitude of 2000 m. The ashram was founded by Shri Dharinder Bramhchari, and was developed as a yoga and spiritual centre. Presently no activity is taking place in the said area.

Mantalai is also known for the Aparna Ashram of late Swami Dharinder Brahamchari Ji, who raised multi‐million infrastructure in the shape of hostels, hotels, helipad, gardens, Yoga research lab, Gau‐Shalas, wide roads, swimming pools and Cinema halls etc. The Ashram has almost turned into ruins and there are no further signs of development at this place. Also here at Mantalai, the marriage of Lord Shiva with Goddess Parvati took place. The Hawan Kund has now turned into a big Pond, nearby the old historic temple of Mantalai. People in thousands take holy bath and worship in the nearby temple.

The destination is being developed under Prime Ministers Development Plan (PMDP). International standard infrastructure is being created which include Yoga centre with associated infrastructure, equipment and counselling rooms, Wellness Spa and Ayurveda Complex with separate area for traditional Indian Spa Therapies with library and archiving centre, Tourist Facilitation Centre with sitting area , toilets, lobby , gathering space , exhibition space, Dining centre / Cafeteria with kitchen and washrooms, Eco log huts with solariums on south west side integrated into the cottage design -one bedroom, Eco log huts with solariums on south west side integrated into the cottage design - two bedroom, Eco parks with herb garden with poly houses, Meditation Enclave in apple orchard, Open air amphitheatre with green rooms and tensile roofing, Landscaping , Beautification and improvement of premises including walking and jogging track , mood lighting , children activity zone and CCTV cameras, Parking area with gender based toilet, Security Fencing with security check posts and guard rooms, Rain water , harvesting and associated water bodies , fountains , Gazebos / Rain Shelters, Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Water purification plant for solid and organic waste management with associated infrastructure and equipment, internal approach roads and ramps, Maintenance equipment area and equipment, Solar power - 100 KW, Lighting inclusive of solar lighting , mood lighting , lighting of helipad and other services, Green transportation within the property ( Battery operated carts ), Informational / Directional / Ecological Do's and Don’t's Signage etc. and the same will be outsourced after completion.
